Top 10 Downtown Seattle Intimate Wedding Venues

1. Block 41

If you’re on the never-ending hunt for your Goldilocks Seattle wedding venue, searching high & low for a location that combines your desires for urban yet chic, cozy yet spacious – you’ve found your place with Block 41. This Seattle event space is where all your wedding-day dreams can come to life in their truest forms! From “contemporary cool,” modern decor to the prettiest industrial vibes somehow mixed with a slight cozy, rustic charm, this venue has it all no matter what your taste.

Where it’s located: 115 Bell Street (Belltown)

Best features:

Block 41 features not only an elegant & airy ballroom perfect for a luxurious wedding celebration. It also has an entire lower level for when you’re ready to strip off those stilettos & change into your best dance ‘fits. This venue’s combination of modern, cozy, industrial, and eclectic decor is truly one of a kind.

I can’t forget to brag about Block 41’s courtyard space – this lil’ secret space is tucked into the heart of Belltown & features a stainless steel fence, a vibrant mural done by a local artist, and a wooden deck for you and your guests to plant your feet on during your cocktail hour.

A few more of Block 41’s best features:

  • A luxurious bridal suite to get ready in
  • 15,000 square feet of space
  • High-quality rentals such as arbors, cocktail tables, banquet rounds, & more
  • Space for a food truck in the courtyard space (perfect for late-night snacks when those cravings set in)
  • Elegant black staircase
  • Virtual tours if you can’t visit in person
  • 10 hours of rental time

Things to note:

  • Parking isn’t the easiest at Block 41: you can technically pay to park on the street, but that wouldn’t make much sense since there are usually barely any spots open, and you can’t re-pay after a few hours! Your best bet is to rent out some sort of limo or party bus (plus that’s way more fun, right?).
  • The Belltown neighborhood is known to be a little grungy, so prepare to pass by lots of people, traffic, and not-so-elegant spots on the way to the venue.

2. Seattle Municipal Court

If you love the idea of keeping your wedding super casual and celebrating old-fashioned-elopement style, you can 1000% “run off to the courthouse!” Whether that entails actually running to the courthouse spontaneously with a dress you bought the day before, or inviting a couple of your closest friends along to be your witnesses, courthouse weddings are absolutely still in style. They’re a great way to cut some of the costs that come with renting out a venue, and became increasingly popular during the height of COVID, when the idea of large weddings had to be completely thrown out.

Where it’s located: 600 5th Ave

Best features:

The Seattle Municipal Court is lovely for a courthouse, with tons of natural light & plenty of nearby rooftops that you may be able to hold your ceremony at (depending on the judge who will be officiating)! You can get absolutely gorgeous views of downtown Seattle and the water, and you’re allowed to begin taking photos 30 minutes prior to your check-in time. So we can make sure to grab some photos before the official stuff starts! Plus, what’s more fun than getting some photos of the two of you running across the streets of Seattle in your wedding attire & getting that classic “running off to the courthouse” elopement shot?!

  • Wedding parties are limited to 4 people, including the couple and 2 witnesses
  • Masks are required
  • Ceremony requests cannot be made more than 8 weeks in advance
