This is where I LISTEN to what you WANT so that I can help build you the perfect custom package based on what you NEED. We can always start with the basics and work our way up as things feel more concrete.

2-4 weeks out we have another call to go over your priorities and make sure we're all on the same page. I walk you through a timeline so you can feel more at ease knowing what to anticipate on the day of and so that I can start to mentally prepare to attack the day and make the most out of everything (including your investment). 

This is the ideal time when I can educate you on extra hours, extra sessions, and all things extra in general.

Everything was better than you'd hoped. You receive sneak peaks within the first 4 days so that your newlywed announcement (and your mom's) isn't wasted on some garbage iphone photo. 

The full gallery is delivered between 10-14 weeks. 
You lament because waiting is hard but understand that all good things take time.

We've figured out your perfect starting package with all the bells and whistles your heart desires. You sign the contract, pay your flat rate $1500 retainer - birds sing, the sun shines, the world is bright. YOU ARE OFFICIALLY ON THE ROSTER. We all do a happy dance to celebrate you ticking another big thing off your to do list.

Chelsea doesn’t produce wedding photos with just the average wedding poses. Her photos showcase her amazing talent to produce beautiful images celebrating the uniqueness of your love. Are you available for destination weddings?

Absolutely! Get in touch and we can discuss all the specifics about where you're headed, what you're excited about, and how we can build out the perfect package for your wild + wonderful getaway.

I'm confused -DO YOU LIVE IN HAWAII OR SEATTLE? 

Hawaii is where I'm from, but Seattle is where I live! I spend at least 1-2 weekends per month back in Hawaii and the rest back here in Seattle or traveling to another incredible place. Feeling like, "Where in the world is Chelsea Abril?" You and my husband both. Follow me on insta to stay up to date with my travels!

How much do you charge?

Elopements have a 3 hour minimum and start at ~$2100 all the way up to ~$5000 for full and multi-day adventures.

Weddings start at 6 hours and range from
~$4000-7000k for the average starting package of 6-8 hours, depending on location.

What's a second shooter?
do i need one?

A second shooter is someone I hire to be my second pair of eyes/lenses. They will see what I won't, be where I'm not, and make sure that not a moment or angle of your wedding day is missed. I work 95% of my weddings totally Han Solo, but do recommend having a second shooter for weddings with more than 100 guests if there is space for one in your budget.

how long will it take to get our photos delivered?

I deliver a sneak preview within the first week and full galleries are delivered within 10-12 weeks. I know 12 weeks seems like ages, so I always get you a nice healthy batch of preview photos to hold you over. Good things take time, I promise it will be worth the wait!

how far in advance do i need to book you for my wedding?

I open my booking calendar at 12-14 months, so as soon as you have a date in mind, feel free to reach out! Many couples book in the 8-12 month window and my calendar does fill up quickly. The sooner, the better, I always say! Just think of how relaxed you'll feel getting such a big piece off your to do list.

Building up from The Basics, the Basics+ includes an additional 2 hours which extends and covers getting ready all the way through to an hour of your dance party (which is enough, I promise).

The Basics+ also includes a session credit. This is perfect to use towards an additional session to give yourselves a chance to practice being in front of the camera, or towards a day-after session to make even more use of your wedding attire.

I believe that not many people go into wedding planning as experts who know what they need, when, or how. That's where I come in.

I start all my weddings off with a minimum of 6 hours because that's what every day deserves.  6 hours will cover the tail end of getting ready, bride(s) into dress, groom(s) fixing tie all the way through to the end of the formal program.
