Here's the easy peasy 1-2-3:
- Step 1: Fill out the contact form and officially submit your inquiry!
- Step 2: Book your discovery call (link provided after submitting your inquiry). We'll discuss your perfect package, answer every question, and make sure this feels like an exciting, confident yes.
- Step 3: I send a custom proposal based on your dream coverage. You sign, choose your payment plan, and pay your retainer. I offer a traditional 50/50 split as well as a flexible flat rate $1,500 deposit with a monthly payment plan.
- Step 4: We're official! Birds sing. The sun shines. Everyone celebrates. Life is good ;)
Both! I'm dual-based, born and raised in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, and currently based in Seattle, Washington. I travel back to Hawaii very frequently (typically every 1-3 months) and am available to shoot on all the main islands: Oahu, the Big Island, Maui, Kauai, and Lanai. Yes! As a dual-based photographer, I feel very lucky to split my time between Seattle, Washington and the Big Island of Hawaii, I photograph weddings, elopements, engagements, family portraits, and maternity sessions in both locations year-round.
Being born and raised in Kailua-Kona means I bring genuine local knowledge to every Hawaii session: the light, the land, the culture, the hidden spots, versus someone who just moved or has visited a handful of times.
Absolutely! I've photographed weddings and adventures internationally in Iceland, Sayulita, and Cabo, as well as domestically in Hawaii, Washington, California, Oregon, Idaho, and Washington DC. Get in touch and we can build out the perfect package for your wild and wonderful getaway.
For weddings + elopements, you'll get a sneak preview delivered within the first week and full galleries are delivered within 12-14 weeks. At first glance, this might seem like ages, so I always send a healthy batch of preview photos to hold you over! For portrait sessions, you can expect delivery in about 4-6 weeks.
If you have any specific photos you want me to fast-track for your thank you cards or social media announcements, I'm always happy to prioritize those in the editing queue. Want or need your full gallery in a hurry? I seasonally offer a 2-week rush delivery option, just ask about availability and pricing when we chat.
The sooner the better, I always say! Most clients book 6-12 months out, with the second most popular window being 3-8 months out. I only take on about 10-15 weddings per year, so prime dates can fill up quick! Wherever you're at in your planning journey, reach out! Even if I'm unavailable, I'm always happy to point you toward other amazing photographers. Reach out no matter what!

Chelsea doesn’t produce wedding photos with just the average wedding poses. Her photos showcase her amazing talent to produce beautiful images celebrating the uniqueness of your love. She got ALL the lovey shots, ALL the tears of joy, ALL the silliness and giggles. In fact, it is hard to believe there was just one of her with all the different photos we received.

Chelsea is such a wonderful human. I found her after semi-stalking her wedding on Pinterest and after seeing her website I knew we needed to have her at our wedding.
Chelsea was worth every god damn penny. My husband was very hesitant about all photo shoots but Chelsea's excitement and outgoing personality really helped open him up. We're also both pretty awkward in front of the camera, but Chelsea made us feel like beautiful little models :)
