As an mixed-race Asian woman, I know I was sorely missing out on seeing myself represented when I built out my Pinterest boards. And even when I was looking for vendors, I rarely saw any make up artists with Asian faces in their portfolios. I can’t even begin to tell you the horror stories of the many times I did hire make up artist during my life and they completely didn’t understand how to apply make up to my skin tone or eye shape.
Shout out again to the make up artist at this shoot for making sure our gorgeous, Asian models went straight to 11. I mean, can you even handle this look? A bold lip that still feels natural, soft blush-tones and warm shadows that brig out her eyes – the perfect fall-inspired bridal makeup if you ask me.
