As a Hawaii-born island girl now living my city dreams in Seattle, there are a few things that inspire me more than urban wedding vibes in downtown, or witnessing the seasons change. So imagine my delight when the wonderful Hallea Events proposed a styled shoot at one of my favorite downtown Seattle wedding venues, Block 41.
The perfect blend of urban wedding inspiration and fall wedding inspiration – with a stunning backdrop of Block 41, the hustle and bustle of Belltown, and the delicate, autumn-themed wedding colors, florals, and table settings.
Before I get too long-winded, I wanted to shout out and thank all the vendors who came together for a fabulous day to make this beautiful shoot happen:

Block 41 is a unique Seattle venue – they host events, weddings, parties, you name it. They describe themselves on their website as “contemporary cool and industrial chic” which as I mentioned above, is on one of my absolute favorite wedding styles and moods.
Boasting a spectacular industrial backdrop that is both warm and inviting, Block 41 is an ideal venue for anyone wanting to have an open concept, totally customizeable event space. Right in the heart of Belltown and just a few blocks away from downtown Seattle, Pike Place Market, and South Lake Union, you and your guests will have access to both transportation and accommodation, all while staying relatively central.
It is directly adjacent to the bustling 2nd avenue of Belltown which boasts a ton of fun, grungy, quirky, and upscale restaurants and bars (did someone say after party?) and street parking galore.
Seattle makeup artists and hairstylists helping our models look and feel effortlessly chic + low-effort luxe.
Making all your mustard, sage, and crimson wedding inspiration come to life.
Block 41 has these beautiful asymmetrical hoop ceremony pieces available on site.
Dress them up with the foliage and florals of your choice to customize and fit them to your wedding vision.
Fun Fact: the florist (link) hand foraged all the foliage from her yard! We love a no-waste, low impact approach to florals.
These two are a real life couple and absolutely slayed the game.
Can you even handle the cuteness?
Hair and makeup nailed it with his clean yet casual top knot and her soft, romantic wavy long-haired wedding hairstyle.
Pro tip: instead of plastic glitter or confetti, use the foliage you have around you! Petals, leaves, etc. You can always use a hole punch to cute down larger leaves. Eco-friendly and cost effective.
The PNW delivering with it’s moody wedding inspo in the Fall wedding or Winter wedding season.
If you love street art and graffiti (without needing to go into some of the sketchier alleys to see it) Block 41 is perfect! This huge wall mural is on their open air back patio bordering 2nd Ave in Belltown.
If you’re getting married in the city, you can’t miss out on having a classic mid-crosswalk dip photo.
Bonus: everyone loves a wedding so you’ll probably get some happy honks and congratulations from passerbys.
Loose romantic curls, an organic, Fall-inspired bouquet, and textured puff sleeves = all the cottage core wedding inspo your heart could ever desire.
The blue berries and sash contrasting with the orange leaves – YES PLEASE.
Best tip: make your wedding day fun by HAVING fun! Plan a fun playlist, have some liquid courage ;), and just remember that this day is meant for the two of you.
