Seattle Courthouse Wedding Photography, Couple Kissing with Masks

I know many couples are looking towards a future where we can gather in for events again! We all want to be up close and personal with our loved ones to celebrate life’s big moments. For those couples here in the PNW who are just now getting engaged and hoping to celebrate soon, I know you might be searching for the best Seattle wedding venues that will help you create your perfect wedding day dream!

As a wedding photographer who’s also a Seattle resident, I know this city like the back of my hand. I’ve seen my fair share of beautiful wedding venues, and there are a lot in this amazing city!

From the Seattle Courthouse to Herban Feast, there are hundreds of venues for you to choose from in my favorite city in the PNW. I’ve made it easy too! I’ve narrowed down to my MOST favorite wedding venues in Seattle. I’m including some of my favorite photos, so you can get the full experience before you head down for you tour!

Fremont Foundry

The Fremont Foundry offers separate spaces for wedding ceremony and reception. On a beautiful Seattle day you can find yourself looking out over the city skyline as you say your vows.

Have you always considered yourself a modern bride with a love of high ceilings and beautiful lighting? Or are you indecisive and not sure of what you want for your wedding venue and reception? Then the Fremont Foundry is the place you should consider for your wedding day needs.

For whatever time of day you decide to have your ceremony, this modern industrial space in Seattle is beautifully lit. It’s memorable and inspiring, and you have your choice of places to say your I do’s! Whether that’s in the rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of North Seattle or in the cafe lit outdoor courtyard. This venue provides distinct spaces for a wedding day that is exactly what you’ve always dreamed of.

Block 41

First dance under the industrial lighting at Block 41, it offers a chic event space for a couple who’s looking for a modern wedding venue.

Block 41 is designed to be industrial chic. The venue hosts many different events, from weddings to fashion shows to photoshoots. The versatility is important because this means you can transform the space into whatever you imagine your perfect wedding day to look like.

There are three different locations inside of this venue for you to choose for your ceremony. The two indoor spaces feature exposed beams and piping, giving it the explicitly industrial look, and the courtyard has a city-scape secret garden vibe to it. You don’t even have to choose: you can host your I-do’s in the upper ballroom, drinks in the secret garden, and your reception in the lower ballroom to get complete use of this wedding venue.

Seattle Courthouse

You can still have a small ceremony with your loved ones during COVID restrictions. There are small areas around the Seattle Courthouse that are a dream background to capture you big day.

The Seattle Courthouse may not be something that appeals to couples looking for a larger celebration. For couples who are looking for a short and sweet ceremony with only their closest loved ones, this may be a place to consider. A total of eight people, including the couple and six witnesses at this point, are permitted to attend the ceremony. Judges are available on the weekdays after 4:30 to perform limited outdoor ceremonies.

In the age of COVID, this may be perfect for couples looking to say their long-awaited I-do’s before having a larger ceremony when it’s safe again. You can get married right now in front of the courthouse or within walking distance from the downtown location. In non-COVID times this venue also offers a rooftop deck with a beautiful view of the Seattle skyline.

The Foundry or Herban Feast

Herban Feast’s The Foundry offers a unique backstory and a beautiful location for couples looking for a one-stop-shop for the wedding venue. This beautiful location used to be a copper and steel manufacturing facility, but now the space is a warm and chic place for couples to say “I do.” Herban Feast offers custom catering and bar service, as well as an option for in-house event design. The space includes a stone fireplace, a rain waterfall, and barn doors. No matter how fantastic or ambitious your wedding plans are, the foundry can accommodate all of your ideas to create the wedding of your dreams in this perfect venue.

That’s my roundup of the best wedding venues in Seattle! No matter where you chose to host your beautiful wedding day, I’ll be there to capture your picture perfect moments.
